The USA TODAY $1.75 million Bash for Cash Series™ will establish which participating Gridiron Bash university has the most passionate and supportive fans.

  1. The winning school will receive a $1,000,000 contribution to their general @ scholarship fund
  2. The 2nd place school receives $500,000
  3. And 3rd place gets $250,000 - not too shabby!

To vote, all you have to do is be in the game - it's time for you to be the player and get out there for your team and school!!! Just buy a ticket to your university's Gridiron Bash and/or text in or vote online! You will be charged .99¢ cents per text vote.

  1. Voting is based on 70% paid attendance and 30% text-in and on-line. This competition will declare the real BCS (Bash for Cash Series) winner!
  2. Check back for updates on which university is leading and on the day of the event, standings will be shown on the jumbotron and various locations outside the stadium so you can be prepared to help push your schools votes.
  3. Also watch the 1 hour Gridiron Bash wrap-up television show on FOX SPORTS NET and THE BIG TEN NETWORK April 19th that will feature highlights from the Gridiron Bash events the night before, plus a look forward to the 2008 football season at the individual schools and show school standings for last minute rallies.
  4. Winners will be announced live on FOX SPORTS NET and THE BIG TEN NETWORK April 20th at 9pm, following the final tally with another 1 hour show dedicated to the winning USA TODAY BASH for CASH school.

    5. In addition, individual fans will be recognized:

  5. One participant from each school will be named that school's "Bash for Cash MVP" and recognized on stage the night of the Gridiron Bash event on that school's campus.
  6. One participant will be chosen and named "The Ultimate College Gridiron Fan." They will receive roundtrip airfare, accommodations and admission to the College Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Southbend, IN, date to be announced.
